  • A 32 year-old woman was scheduled for a repeat cesarean section.
  • She was about 20 kg overweight, and was chosen to receive a spinal block.
  • About 14 mg of tetracaine were estimated to produce analgesia to a sensory level of T4.
  •  The baby was of unusually large size, and episodes of fetal bradycardia occurred.
