a local emergency department.
- He is given colchicine and
ibuprofen.
- Four days later he calls
complaining of shortness of breath, edema, and
diarrhea.
- When you see the patient, his BP
is 190/110; he has rales throughout his chest and
has a large amount of peripheral edema.
- His serum creatinine is now 9.
